How Does Telecommunications Work?
So you may be wondering just how does telecom actually work? Lets take a look on the inside of telecom and I will do my best to explain even though I'm the worst when it comes to technology (I really was born in the wrong generation). Lets explore! Telecom works on a circuit which consists of two stations, transmitter and a receiver and can be combined into a single device called a transceiver. In order for information to be received to the transceiver it needs to go through the "medium" which can be transmitted through via cable (also known as copper), electrical wire, electromagnetic fields, optical fiber, and last light. Networks are also a factor in being able to receive information via telecom. A list of networks include:
-telephone networks
-celluar networks
-police/ fire communications systems
-broadcast networks
data is transmitted through a carrier. To get a better understanding of just how telecom works below is an article along with a video, view whichever one that maybe easier for you to understand!
