Now that you know what telecommunications is and how it works do you know who does it? Every time you use your phone to call someone, text, snapchat, or any other form of communicating with or to someone you are telecommuting. For some examples of others who telecom are businesses, banks (such as America Bank Corporations), hospitals, schools, and even young teens especially when it comes to social media. Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram are some of the biggest social media sites in todays world and weather if it is being used through a computer, laptop, smartphone, or Ipad teens and young adults are among the largest demographic group who use telecom. It

statistically shows that 24% of teens are constantly using social media to communicate with others and that 92% go online at least once a day! In todays world it is much easier for people to communicate via telecom in any way that may be easier and the fastest for the other person on the other end of the spectrum to receive the message. Everything today is about convenience and we do live in a technologically filled world that we often do not realize what we are actually doing because we are just so use to the telecommunication system that we have been living with for the past decades its just a norm. However, with that said we do notice when telecommunications is not working properly due to a glitch or when something could be done easier with the help of telecommunications. For example when it comes to schooling there are a number of students that cannot attend classes on a regular basis like myself so I telecommute. I talk to my professor and class mates via the internet and this makes my life hassle free and allows me to do other things such as work and parent which I would not be able to do all three events sufficiently and cohesively if I were to attend school via face to face. Telecommunications has had a great influence on every individual even if they do not know it. To simply answer the question of who does telecommunications it EVERYONE!
